Hail the 15th Amendment and the Right to Vote regardless of race, color, or previous condition of servitude

On this day in 1870, the government finally pulled it’s head out of it’s ass and acknowledged the Right for most citizens.

It’s shocking and shameful it took a Constitutional Amendment to acknowledge a basic human right. And the fact it took another amendment to stop the idea of owning another human being.

You would think being a human being and a citizen of the United States would be enough. Clearly it’s not.

Do we really have to spell it out like this? Are we that stupid and prejudice?

Nevermind, the question answers itself.
