You know what else is in the Constitution?
Too many “politicians” and religious zealots forget this little gem:
their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’
Thus, for a politician to make the statement, “This is a Christian Nation” borders on unconstitutional.
As we already know, “In God We Trust” is unconstitutional and needs to be removed. It was a mistake to remove “E pluribus unum.” It’s not even a question, it just needs to happen.
Lawmakers should read the Constitution, the Amendments, and The Bill of Rights. Maybe then they will stop making an ass of themselves.
