You know, I think everybody longs to be loved, and longs to know that he or she is lovable. And, consequently, the greatest thing that we can do is to help somebody know that they’re loved and capable of loving. As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. Diligence and care for interpreting the Bible, but not for anything else

At first glance, the bible is full on contradictory details, not to mention an abundance of violence, death, murder, vengeance, and child sacrifice. In trying to sort that, you are met with, “Oh nay nay, you can’t take the bible at face value. It takes careful reading, diligence, and understanding to get the meaning.” Further, “There are no contradictions in the bible. Those can be explained through misinterpretation, misunderstanding, translation error, or old fashioned typos. Hebrew is complex, there are bound to be a few mistakes here and there.” These explain why the bible is never wrong and all the bases are covered, even the bit about dinosaurs. Fair enough. The language is tricky, it’s clearly not in English, and some context is needed. It’s a reach in most cases, but I’m with your meaning. On the banning of things

From the last 50 years, let’s look at some things those who know what’s best for us [1] wanted banned. We start with dime novels because they dealt with crime and mysteries. Then comic books because they promoted solitary behavior. Then movies, driving in a car with a woman and no adult supervision (because sex), then drive-ins (because sex), then TV (because kissing), then cartoons, radio, games, books, and music. At some point, every form of media and entertainment gets labelled as taboo or unwholesome by this group. Let’s take a peek at some of these shocking influences. Jazz was indecent. Comic books caused damage to children because they were reading alone. Elvis was too sexual with his hip movements and couldn’t be shown on television. The Beatles caused ungodly hysteria. Time to make Fauci a scapegoat eh?

This is a pathetic state of affairs, but I guess we should have seen it coming. In the deep trough of death their incompetence has caused, it’s time for politicians to turn Fauci into a scapegoat. There are people like Ron DeSantis, who doesn’t have two brain cells to rub together, calling for a “reckoning” against Fauci. This comes from the same guy who used Covid vaccines as a bargain chip, and bullied school children into not wearing masks. People are up in arms because Fauci supposedly “backpedaled” over Covid, changed his mind, and wasn’t decisive. Yes, he did make mistakes in the early days of Covid. He made comments and based his actions on the data he had available. Then, once more data came in, he owned up to those mistakes, and changed what he said to fit the data. The empowering nature of Satanism

While there are many factors that make Satanism appealing, it’s the empowering nature of the self that speaks to a lot of us. From our early days, faith based religion instills helplessness, shame, and guilt with the end goal to make individuals servants to and in total submission of a higher power. Helplessness because you are powerless to the will of God, not your own actions or inactions. Shame because your very existence stems from a sinful act. Guilt over enjoyment and pleasure. Put them together and it creates a dependency. There are dozen of statements where the point of your life is to serve God. From a psychological standpoint, this would be a toxic relationship between two people. The point is driven home by sermons that teach if you fail, it’s because you have sinned. Hail the 19th Amendment and Women’s Right to Vote

On this day in 1920, the government finally pulled it’s head out of it’s ass and acknowledged the Right of women to vote. It’s shocking and shameful it took a Constitutional Amendment to acknowledge a basic human right. You would think being a human being and a citizen of the United States would be enough. Clearly it’s not. Do we really have to spell it out like this? Are we that stupid and prejudice? Nevermind, the question answers itself. When did it become acceptable for politicians to refer to people by slurs?

In previous years, people on opposite sides of the political fence would refer to each other as opponent, their full name, or throw in a title. When referring to constituents who disagreed, they would use equally neutral terms usually using the party name or by the organization name. There might even be a dismissive, “some groups.” That has gone out the window and it’s considered acceptable and fashionable to refer to people by slurs. Trump uses derogatory and racial slurs when referring to everything he disagrees with especially someone foreign. Most Republicans have taken up the mantle using terms like: Stupid, freaks, sleazy, slime ball, losers, and godless, just to name a couple. Not sure if that last one is a complement for us or not. Occult is a word people love to throw around. So much so, it’s become a garbage collection term for anything outside mainstream religion, especially from Christians. In reality, the term simply means: – Hidden and difficult to see– Supernatural practices and techniques Hidden and difficult to see sounds like the search for knowledge. Settlement reached between Jason Rapert and Atheists

Well, good news, John Rapert, our friend from Hail Satan, reached a settlement with the atheists over his use of Facebook. In simple terms, he is required to unblock them and pay attorneys fees. It was shown that his Facebook page is representative of him as a public official, not him as an individual. There is a big difference, despite his “front porch” argument. If you do a tiny bit of digging, you can find his Facebook response to the situation. Within 30 seconds he’s on the pulpit. And you can tell he’s pissed. Right off the bat, he defends Trump, invokes the “woke” cliche, throws out “fake news” term, and the “weaponize.” You can start making Bingo cards with their buzzword.
