Happy Halloween – It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

In my teens, Halloween and the idea of “the veil being at its most thin,” seemed like a good thing. If there is a way for the departed to come back and make an appearance for once night and spend time with loved ones, what’s wrong with that? The departed aren’t truly departed and gone forever, that’s kinda nice. Loved ones are forever distant, it’s possible to interact. That feels comforting, not scary. What is the story behind this Baphomet thing?

The image and statue of Baphomet, is closely tied to Satanism, but what exactly is it? Is it a representation of Satan, the Devil, or some other demon? Despite being repeatedly and incorrectly identified as Satan, it’s none of those. When the statue of Baphomet went to Oklahoma and people lost their minds, it was rather funny. People are more and more hateful with their speech, but cry Freedom of Speech, when they’re shut down or get backlash. They don’t realize freedom of speech isn’t a shield for libel, slander, obscenity, sedition, incitement, fighting words, or hate speech, among a slew of others. What do you need to get rid of to be happy?

When people talk of happiness, it usually involves what they need. If I had “this” I would be happy. If I had “that” it would be great. It’s usually material or tangible. That’s a good start, but I’ve come at this from another angle, getting rid of the things that don’t you make happy. It’s the reverse of the Kondo idea of asking if something sparks joy. If it’s dragging you down or holding you back, it’s got to go. People, places, things. All of it. It’s an extension of, or variation on, the “Destruction” ritual, where you destroy tokens or mementos of a previous life or events that cause you trauma. Of course, there is no destroying of people, that’s bad. However, there comes a time to cut out the bad or negative influences in your life. This can involve work or your personal life. Eulogy for my little friend, who departed after 15 years

And so it was, the last day with my beloved Chihuahua. After 15 years, with a huge amount of sadness, I had to bring things to an end. She hadn’t eaten in almost three days, so that was a sign she was ready and wanted to let go. All the foods she would normally pounce on, held no interest today. She passed away very peacefully and quietly in my lap. I held her little paws in my hand right to the end. And in that last moment, I felt a shadow cross my heart. She came in my life in October 2007. My first memory is taking her around the neighborhood for Trick-or-Treating. She fit in the palm of my hand, like a little toy. Respect to Nancy Pelosi

Now that the Jan 6th Committee has released their findings, there are two main takeaways: Trump is guilty as hell. Nancy Pelosi is a bad ass! You have to admire, that even though her life was in imminent danger, her office and personal belongings destroyed, people being shot in a space she just fled, that she remained clam, cool, collected and in charge. She didn’t raise her voice, she didn’t go into hysterics, she don’t throw herself into the role of victim. Even when faced with opposition and resistance, she kept moving forward. Events of the weekend show that racism is alive and well and running for office. You have to admire these politicians ability to disregard history at every turn. Really, the Illuminati?

Despite the fact they died out over 200 years and were in existence for 10 years, people still believe the Illuminati is at work. Not only believe they still exist, but they have millions of members working toward a New World Order. A secret society (everyone knows about) that pulls the strings for government action both famous and infamous. They are behind all the good and bad things going on in the world. The society’s goals were to oppose superstition, obscurantism, religious influence over public life and abuses of state power. It simply needs to be said, Donald Trump is a disgusting and vulgar human being. His racial slurs, death threats, calls to violence, and bullying tactics are out of control. Aside from the idiotic pet names he throws around, he’s now taken to calling people who write accurate but unflattering stories about him “maggots.” Pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve ever heard a “politician” use that term. When he doesn’t like what someone is doing, he claims they have a “Death Wish.” Not a good term to use for someone who has armed thugs doing his bidding.
