Summoning a Demon

This is a concept I have a hard time with. I keep seeing articles and books about using Satanism to summon demons, pray to literal Satan, and control supernatural forces. Most people use the same language and iconography the their books on Satanism. There’s also the cool satanym (Satanic Pseudonym). However, these highlight prayers, chants and affirmations to the Devil. I can’t come to terms with that being Satanism. Not only is that diety worship, which isn’t my thing, it goes in a direction I’m not on board with. To split hairs, summoning the Devil, would be devil worship. That isn’t part of Satanism, at least nothing I would associate with. There are a host of problems with this idea, the most obvious being, “worship,” and demons don’t exist. You don’t have to benefit, for it to be a benefit

People are wrapped up in this backward idea that if they don’t personally benefit from something, it’s not a real benefit and they support it. One of many “marriage equality” attacks is, “If everyone can get married, then my marriage isn’t special. Marriage should only benefit me, and me alone. And others like me. But, not exactly like me, because I’m special.” For me to win, and feel good about my win, and thus myself, you must lose, and lose badly. If ridicule can be added, then the win is all the better. There are dozens of things we all “support,” but don’t get an immediate benefit from. Still, it’s a benefit. Simple examples: I don’t have any school aged children, but I pay school taxes. All my taxes have a line item for it. Help, help, I’m being repressed. Why am I “punished” when I get no benefit from these damnable school?! Obviously I do. Better schools benefit everyone. […]

Satanism and mortality

When I was young, I was made of rubber and magic and could bounce back from anything. There was always tomorrow and another chance for something cool and fun. In those same early days, my idea of mortality and the afterlife reflected the Egyptian idea. They didn’t have a fear of death. They loaded up their loved ones with gifts and tokens for their “journey,” like there was more to come. Not just looking down or watching over, but they had stuff to do, another life to lead, places to go, things to see. I was on board with that. With that, I don’t recall a heaven or hell, there was simply an afterlife. You went there, and those you left behind carved in stone your great deeds and accomplishments. A Day Of Giving Thanks

We’re all aware the story of the Pilgrims and Native Americans sitting down to a happy, joyous day of feasting and celebration is a false narrative at best. The reality is far more oppressive, hostile, treacherous and bloody. Unto itself, it’s not really celebration worthy. Combine that with off the charts consumerism, family obligations many of us would rather forgo, and holiday events thrust upon us, what’s a reserved Satanist to do? As for me, I completely ignore the “story time” roots of Thanksgiving, and instead treat is as a real day of giving thanks. That is figurative and literal. I’m quite lucky in that I don’t have family close by, so I don’t attend family dinners. With Covid still looming large and potent, I don’t pay any social visits either. Nor do I invite people over. Violent words can lead to violent deeds

It’s pathetically laughable that politicians have soiled themselves over banning violent video games, yet hate filled rhetoric against real people and groups is acceptable, and encouraged. Over the last 30+ years, political figures have pointed to games like Doom, Grand Theft Auto, and Postal because they inevitably lead to violence. Those games will take a perfectly normal person and turn them into an assassin. It gives them the tools, and training to be a mass shooter. It teaches kids to hate and lash out. None of that is true, but that’s the stance. Yet, those same people spend day after day, speech after speech, dehumanizing specific individuals and entire groups without concern. We’re hip deep in xenophobia and homophobia. There is hate speech against People of Color, Jews, foreigners as a whole, other politicians, and anyone with a differing ideology. Satanic money and charity

Despite the old phrase, in no way do I think money is the root of all evil. Twitter is, but that’s another story. I have no compunction with spending money, or making it. I’m happy to make as much money as possible and feel no shame over it. If I’m honest, UPS delivers an Amazon package on an almost daily basis. I’m sure the drivers and people in the warehouse know me by name. “What’s he got planned for this weekend?” If there is something I want, and it causes minimal financial impact, I get it. If there is an impact, I begin my savings plan. As of right now, I have my eye set, and my plan in place, for a very high replacement for this computer. It’s election day, let the denial begin!

It’s election day and we all know what’s coming next-days, weeks, even months of politicians crying, screaming, denying and refusing to comply with any results that remove them from office. Even though there isn’t a shred of evidence to support election fraud, election corruption, voter fraud, or rigged voting machines, hundreds of politicians will use this lack of evidence as proof of how they lost an election. Let’s count how many times it’s “statistically impossible to lose!” If the results come in too quickly, there will be a cry of fraud.If it takes too long to count the votes, there will be a cry of fraud and stalling.If they disagree with the results, they will demand recounts, done in a specific way, which will take weeks to complete. Two ballot issues: Abortion and Revenge

When it comes to the Republican-Nazi party, there’s only two issues on the ballot, a total ban on abortions and revenge. Maybe not even in that order. They want abortions banned, period. No abortions for any one for any reason. Screw family planning. Screw choice. Screw medical safety. No one asks for Republican permission to have sex, but it will be needed for family planning. After taking away rights, Republicans are totally committed to exacting revenge against those who wrong them, meaning, people they lost elections to, or people they disagree with, or people they don’t like, or people who stop them from breaking the law, or people who stand up to them, or people who question their conspiracy theories. For more than two years, Trump and his racist, conspiracy theory toting thugs, have tried to convince people that elections and voting don’t matter. Elections are rigged, riddled with fraud, and massive corruption, so why bother?
