Time to make Fauci a scapegoat eh?

This is a pathetic state of affairs, but I guess we should have seen it coming. In the deep trough of death their incompetence has caused, it’s time for politicians to turn Fauci into a scapegoat.

There are people like Ron DeSantis, who doesn’t have two brain cells to rub together, calling for a “reckoning” against Fauci. This comes from the same guy who used Covid vaccines as a bargain chip, and bullied school children into not wearing masks.

People are up in arms because Fauci supposedly “backpedaled” over Covid, changed his mind, and wasn’t decisive.

Yes, he did make mistakes in the early days of Covid. He made comments and based his actions on the data he had available. Then, once more data came in, he owned up to those mistakes, and changed what he said to fit the data. It’s called the scientific method.

Would it have been better for Fauci to pull a Trump and keep saying the same rhetoric and make up data to support his original theory and ego?

Let’s not forget that Trump argued with Fauci every step of the way, even gloating that he was ignoring Fauci. Trump called people pussies for wearing a mask. He made mask wearing and social distancing an encroachment of freedom. Trump held “super spreader” events, a la Masque of the Red Death, that infected who knows how many people.

Trump spread so many lies and misinformation about Covid he was banned from social media platforms.

Think about that for a moment. The standing President was banned because he was repeatedly caught lying about Covid.

Like an ignorant buffoon, Trump made the argument there was so much Covid because they kept testing for it. Basically, if the testing was stopped, Covid would go away. It pains me that people bought into this idea.

Women don’t take pregnancy tests in order to get pregnant…

If there is a call for a reckoning, it should be against Trump himself. He needs to be dragged to Nuremberg, along with his other brownshirt wearing thugs, and be put on trial for Crime Against Humanity. His ignorance, incompetence and glaring stupidity cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

In my opinion, Fauci should be applauded. He hasn’t taken sides and shown no political agenda. He presented his theories based on the evidence he had at the time. As new information came in, he updated his stance and offered up advice on how to slow or stop the spread of Covid.

Despite the bitching and moaning, the lockdowns, quarantines and other actions were the right choice. Yes, they were an economic hit, but death is a pretty big economic hit too.

Other countries such as Italy and France put into place far stricter methods. It’s obvious people haven’t looked back and given a cursory glance at how Bubonic Plague, Influenza, or Typhoid were spread.

Short version: Movement=Spread of disease.

This is an obvious distraction ploy.

• Don’t look at our misdeeds, look at what this guy did.
• Pay no attention to those terrorist attacks we perpetuated back in January.
• Pay no attention to the death we caused through bullying and turning Covid into a polarizing political statement.
• Pay no attention to that raid and those illegally held documents.
• Pay not attention to all those criminal cases and lawsuits

I’m not putting Fauci on a pedestal, he doesn’t need it. He’s a badass and he knows it.

I’m saying he doesn’t deserve this treatment from a bunch of ungrateful hacks who are angry because Fauci made them look stupid at every turn.

He understands science.

They don’t understand, well, anything.

But you know what? There should absolutely be a reckoning.

Let’s take Fauci to court. Let’s have him deposed so he can reveal all the details and blunders of Trump and how he handled Covid. Let’s find out all the ways Trump ignored advice and made shit up on his own.
Let’s see all the ways Trump endangered people’s lives. Let’s get all this, under oath, and have Trump play his “fake news” card.
Depositions work both ways. Discovery works both ways.
